How to Load a Vocal Preset Made in FL Studio (Windows) 💻

1. Locate Your Vocal Preset (.fst)

If you already have a saved vocal preset, it will likely be in one of two formats:

  • plugin preset (.fst) – e.g. for Fruity Parametric EQ 2, Fruity Limiter, Auto-Tune, etc.
  • Mixer Track State – saved as a full chain from the FL Studio mixer

2. Open FL Studio

Launch FL Studio and go to your Mixer (F9).

3. Load a Mixer Track Preset (.fst or full chain)

Option A: Load a single plugin preset

  1. Add the desired plugin (e.g. Fruity Parametric EQ 2) to your mixer insert
  2. Click the arrow on the top-left corner of the plugin window
  3. Choose “Preset” > “Load preset…”
  4. Select your .fst file

Option B: Load a full vocal chain (mixer track preset)

  1. Right-click the insert number (e.g. Insert 3)
  2. Click “File” > “Load mixer track state”
  3. Find and select the saved .fst chain
✅ All plugins and their settings will load instantly onto the selected track

4. Where to Save Your Own Vocal Presets (for future use)

If you want to export and reuse your own vocal chain:

  • Right-click a mixer insert
  • Select “File” > “Save mixer track state as…”
  • Save it to a folder like:

Documents\Image-Line\Data\FL Studio\Presets\Mixer presets

-You can also drag the.fstfile into FL directly from Windows Explorer.

✅ Summary:

  • .fst files can store individual plugin settings or full mixer chains
  • Use “Load preset…” for single plugins
  • Use “Load mixer track state” to load full vocal chains
  • Works on any Windows setup with FL Studio

Does vocal presets include Auto-Tune? What if I don't have one ❓

A:
Ableton Live, Studio One, and Pro Tools do not come with a built-in pitch correction (Auto-Tune) plugin.
That’s why we offer two versions of each vocal preset:

  • Standard – without Auto-Tune
  • Standard + Auto-Tune – with Antares Auto-Tune Access integrated into the chain

If you own your own pitch correction plugin (like Auto-Tune ProWaves Tune, or any other), feel free to swap it in – just make sure it's the first plugin in the vocal chain for best results.

Don’t have a paid Auto-Tune plugin? No problem. We recommend using one of these free alternatives:

They both work great and will still give you that clean, tuned vocal sound.

Can I tweak the presets to fit my own sound? ✧

Absolutely! Our vocal presets are fully customizable. While they’re designed to give you a professional, ready-to-use sound right out of the box, you can adjust any parameter to better suit your voice, style, or track.

Whether it’s EQ settings, compression, reverb levels, or Auto-Tune strength – everything can be modified.

We actually encourage you to treat the preset as a starting point and shape it to match your unique vocal tone and artistic vision.

What’s included with my Vocal Preset purchase? 🤔

Each vocal preset pack includes everything you need to sound radio-ready within minutes. Here’s what you get:

  • 🎤 Main Vocal Preset — inspired by the artist you selected (e.g. Travis Scott, The Weeknd, etc.).
  • 🎧 2 Bonus Ad-Lib Presets — perfect for background vocals, doubles, and creative layers.
  • 📘 E-book: 50+ Mastering Hacks for Pro-Level Sound — a powerful guide with insider tips to take your final mix to the next level.
  • 🔗 Installation Guide — a clear, step-by-step link to install your preset in seconds (works with all major DAWs).

Whether you’re just starting out or a seasoned artist, this pack is designed to elevate your vocal quality and workflow.

Will these presets work with my microphone and audio interface? 🎙️

Yes — these presets are designed to work with any microphone and audio interface, as long as you're recording clean, dry vocals. Whether you're using a USB mic like the Blue Yeti or a high-end condenser with an audio interface, the presets will still apply the full vocal chain (EQ, compression, reverb, etc.) and bring out a polished sound.

That said, the better the quality of your raw vocal recording, the more professional the result will be. We recommend recording in a quiet environment and staying consistent with your mic distance for best results.

How will I receive my files after purchase?

Right after completing your purchase, you’ll receive a download link directly to your email. You can also choose to download the files instantly from the confirmation page.

Your preset pack will include:

  • Vocal Presets (Standard / With Auto-Tune)
  • Ad-Lib Presets
  • E-book
  • Installation Guide (Mac & Windows)

All files come in a neatly organized ZIP folder, ready to install. If you ever lose access, just contact our support — we’ll resend your download link.

Do you offer refunds if I don’t like the sound?

Due to the nature of digital products, we do not offer refunds if you simply don’t like the sound after purchase. All sales are final once the files are delivered.

However, we do make exceptions in specific cases — for example, if you accidentally purchase the same product twice, we’re happy to issue a refund for the duplicate order.

If you have any issues with your download, sound quality, or a mistaken purchase, just contact our support team — we’re here to help.

Are these presets compatible with Mac and Windows? 👀

Yes — all our vocal presets are fully compatible with both Mac and Windows operating systems. As long as you're using a supported DAW (like Ableton, FL Studio, Logic Pro, Studio One, Pro Tools, GarageBand , Waves ), you’ll be able to load and use the presets without any issues.

We also include a step-by-step installation guide for Mac and for Windows users in FAQ to make setup quick and easy.
